{Love} Norwegian Rain

I think it’s rare to find really really cool men’s clothing but Norwegian Rain makes the type of clothing that I really want to get my husband.

Norwegian Rain is a small designer label from the rainiest city of Europe (Bergen, Norway). They have won so many prices and I can see why – I adore the tailor style and the way the rain gear don’t look like rain gear.

Hi-tech, recycled fabrics from Japan, seam sealing and techniques from the extreme rainwear industry – Norwegian Rain’s garments conceal some of the highest level of weather protection available. Traditional men’s tailoring, clean cut aesthetics and draping with hints to the purity in Japanese dressing traditions keep the functionality in each piece visually understated.

And I have to say I have a weakness for men with a good beard….

Yellow cardigan and pink socks

It’s been a while since I showed an outfit (basically since I have ‘mum’ style at the moment) But I just had to show off my new yellow cardigan and pink socks by H&M. SO bright and happy colour!!

By the way I haven’t gotten the self portrait thing in order on my new camera so it’s in the mirror again….that’s why you can only see the top of the cardigan as I discovered that my purple Papfar’s pige top I’m wearing has some baby spit up (oops…it’s not easy to try to be stylish at the moment)

What I wore Wednesday – winter style

It’s been a while since I joined in on the What I wore Wednesday – but I have to admit there has been many days of me in baggy jumpers with matching sweat pants full of baby spit up….not exactly something I want to share.
But today I wanted to show my outfit and Little A in all his layers.
I’m wearing my left-over stirrup socks as leg warmers, warm wool Norwegian knitted socks (gift from my aunt), my mini poncho as a skirt and matching that with a big alpaca wool scarf (gift from my sister) and a purple Parfar’s pige top – and outside I also wear my waffle hat and big green jacket (and the sunglasses are some my mum forgot).
Little A is wearing:
1 layer: long sleeved wool body bought in the local supermarked + tights by h&m
2 layer: Nosh organics top + pants by H&M
3 layer: hand knitted jacket (that need some new buttons) + Norwegian wool shoes + hand knitted helmet hat
4 layer: Molo fleece
