I have mention that I made the Blue Monday hand warmers but I haven’t shown my matching hat – it’s mainly based on the Blue Monday pattern and with the same yarn. I cast on 100 stitches and used the From Norway with love hat ending.

Nothing like a fun fast knitting project like these Blue Monday wristwarmers. I knitted them in Kauni. I really like the result with the effect yarn – I’ve also knitted a matching hat and I’ll share the recipe with you soon.

Here it it – my owl sweater! My first big project, finnished in under 3 weeks – and it fits. Made in very warm alpaca/ wool mix (Drops Nepal needle 8). The picture was taken Saturday before I fixed all the loose ends and got small buttons as owl eyes.
