Friday, I was on my way home when I heard about the bombing in Oslo. Most of Friday and throughout the weekend I was glued to the screen, watching how some one ripped the town I grew up into pieces, shooting young people in cold blood. In the end I couldn’t take it. Had to [...]

Men gjøre noe her. Derfor har jeg i dag, sammen [...]

Post image for Mitt lille land // My tiny country

“If one man can show so much hate, imagine how much love we can all show together” Mitt lille land Et lite sted, en håndfull fred slengt ut blant vidder og fjord Mitt lille land Der høye fjell står plantet mellom hus og mennesker og ord Og der stillhet og drømmer gror Som et ekko [...]

Every morning I wake up, put on my robe and open the door to the sitting room. Every morning Leia’s furry face turn towards me, she stretches, jaws and purrs when she sees me. Greeting me ‘Good morning’ with a little miaow. Then it’s hard to be grumpy.

I have to much on my plate at the moment so I’ve decided to take a small break from the blog. Hopefully I’ll be back on track within a week or two. //Jeg har lidt for meget i mit liv lige nu så bloggen tager en kort pause

Missing Leia

I miss my cat, Leia. She is still on her Xmas holiday, we didn’t have the heart to take her with us on the ferry – making her sleep in a cadge in the car for 12 hours – alone. So she has been hassling my in laws instead. Sleeping underneath the Xmas tree getting really insulted when they pushed her out with presents, occupying seats ‘ Oh wasn’t that for me?’ and refusing to move – I mean really refusing the way only a cat can. She’s been enjoying watching the birds on the water feature, sleeping on my father in law, sleeping and marking chairs (with long white fur).

It’s the 13. December today and St. Lucy’s day today – so here is a very different blog post.

Do you celebrate St. Lucy?
