I’ve been living in Copenhagen for nearly 5 years now, even though has my friend Tina, who has lived here for 5 months (or is it more Tina?) managed to discover more nice shops than me. Luckily for me and for you, she has documented them all in a project called Shop52. 52 little funky Copenhagen shops will it be on her list, when the projects is over.

Take 14 fantastic creative women and add that to a shop and you have DesignKartellet – a small shop opening in Copenhagen today. The shop has retro kids clothing, knitted things, probably the coolest pillows I’ve seen in a long while, colourful ceramics, paitings, funky jewlery and more.

Quriosia, any retro lovers (wet)dream. The shop is filled up with little treasures, old cool cans and boxes, 60s lamps that actually works, the perfect style coffee cups in bold colours, funky furniture and what am I seeing? A 60s style version of Treasure Island!

Husflid is the kind of shop that makes me clap my hands in excitement, just check out the pictures and you can see why! It’s a paradise filled with yarn. 70s fabric, handmade things and all you can dream of when you like being creative.
